BMT’s RepCost app helps owners calculate replacement costs

RepCost is an exciting new calculator from BMT Tax Depreciation which allows individuals to estimate the replacement cost of their property.

Often when owners estimate the costs to replace a building for insurance purposes, they forget to include important items such as any demolition work and the removal of debris.

A BMT RepCost estimate will include:

• The cost to rebuild
• Demolition/removal of debris
• An estimate of construction costs as they increase over time

A simple interface provides users with a list of questions to complete. The calculator will then determine the minimum and maximum cost range for the replacement of a building.

RepCost also allows owners to set a reminder to provide updated replacement costs for the property each year.
