When you pay for a BMT report this is also a tax deduction.
An expense incurred by a taxpayer in order to manage their tax affairs, like organising a Quantity Surveyor to estimate the construction costs for the purpose of claiming building write-off deductions, is deductible under Section 25-5 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (ITAA 1997).
Therefore all fees associated with the preparation of a BMT Tax Depreciation Report are 100% tax deductible.
